Tea party backed Ted Cruz said he wants to work with Democrats as well as Republicans in Washington if he beats Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst for the GOP nomination for U.S. Senate. This comes from a candidate who has slammed Dewhurst for his work with Democrats as Senate leader, and one who likes to say he wouldn’ consider himself to be doing the job in Washington unless he hasarrows up and down his torso as he fights in Washington.
