Thousands of motorcyclists rev up for Hoggin' The Bridge

Thousands of motorcyclists roared over the Severn Bridge in convoy this morning to celebrate the annual charity Hoggin' The Bridge event.
An estimated 4,000 riders on all manner of machines gathered at Aust services in South Gloucestershire before embarking on the spectacular parade ride at 11am.
The route took them through several villages in Monmouthshire, culminating in Chepstow where roads and car parks in the town centre were closed for the occasion.
Hundreds of people lined the bridge and the route to greet the riders, and bands entertained the crowds in Beaufort Square.
Last year the event, which began in 2000, raised £17,500 for a number of charities, and organisers hope to collect a similar amount today.
