Speed, alcohol suspected in fatal Baytown crash

Baytown police suspect speeding and alcohol may be tied to a single-car wreck about 5 a.m. Saturday that killed the 22-year-old male driver and left two female passengers with serious injuries, KPRC-TV reports on its website. Authorities tell Click2Houston that the driver was speeding on North Main near Archer when his Honda Civic left the road, hit a ditch culvert and went airborne into a power pole before landing upside down.
